My friends and I have a tradition where we get together once a year and take a road trip. We've been white water rafting, camping, and even spent a week at a dude ranch one year! This year, we decided to do something we've never done; go to a theme park. New York State was the closest to us, so I went online to see if I could find Six Flags Great Escape Coupons so we could save some money.
And I definitely found what I was looking for. I guess I must have gotten there at the right time, because there were several good deals going on. We'd never been to the park before, so I decided that daily admission tickets were best, at least until we could decide if we would get good use out of season passes. But we definitely needed parking passes.
The ordering process was really convenient because I could print our tickets and parking passes right then and there. So all we really had to do when we were ready to go was plug the coordinates into the GPS and head out. And then, all we would have to do is practically walk right in when we got there.
They even had a deal on where I could save 5% on our tickets and stores at the park if I had their official credit card, which I did. So I got discounted tickets, and then another 5%, just for ordering with my card. I wasn't expecting to save even more on my tickets!
After having gotten a few really good deals already, I went looking for more. And boy, did I find them! There was a sweepstakes where you could get win season passes, a year's supply of gum and parking passes. I entered right away.
I also found out they were into charities, like their Coasters For A Cause program. All I had to do was sell tickets at a discount and the money went to whatever charity I wanted. It sounded like a great deal to me. One of my friends was in a group that supported a couple of the listed charities, so I made a mental note to tell him about that.
And here I thought I was just planning a yearly road trip! I had no idea about all the great charitable work that Six Flags was into. It kind of gave me a whole new perspective, and I'm really glad I took the time to look around the site and learn about it. I'm looking forward to our trip already, and I have a feeling I will go back more than once!
